The Beginning
Well it seems as though I have been inspired to start my own blog… so here it is…here I am…I hope you can find something in my ramblings that may make you smile, think, or shake your head. Hopefully not all 3 at once, that could be dangerous. Although whichever it may be, at least I’ve succeded in capturing someone's attention however brief the moment.
Maybe some background info first?
Well I’m 23 years old, work in a Hotel (which just so happens to be on strike right now…coming up on the 1 year anniversary actually.) have an 8 year old dog (who refuses to not bark at the annoying neighbors), live with my best friend (who just happened to be promoted to my boss last week…) have a large mixed family (which I love dearly) and am obsessing with learning Japanese (to my roomate/boss' chagrin). Interesting you say? Well…maybe, but that’s just me, stressed out, green-tea freak (that one's yours Crystal), attempting to be a writer (actually I have a poem published already…go me!) all the while living vicariously through movies, books, and music (of the Asian kind lately)…hmmm…
What a life, eh? I’m enjoying it though. I’m doing what makes me happy for the most part. And that's really what counts, or so I've been told.
I’m sure those who’ve stumbled upon this little blog (and haven’t run away screaming yet) are in for a ride. I deal with unusual things at work, (many things)… I have unresolved issues (many issues), I’m a bit of a hermit (well more than a bit sometimes…), seriously lacking in the boyfriend department (ugh…), and have absolutely no idea what I want to do with my life (except maybe travel…ah, I MUST go to Japan...). So please, will you join me as I try to figure all this crap out? And as they say, comments are much appreciated, and probably a bit need too huh?

Japan, huh? Why the recent obsession? Here, we are having a stir about Hispanics learning the English language...which is really quite funny as very few of the locals actually speak what can be considered English...unless Hillbilly is an English dialect! Good luck with the blogging...Cindy from Indiana
